Wesley United Methodist Church is located at 3810 North Major drive in Beaumont. Previous reporting: Legacy Christian Academy's 2015 valedictorian has been identified as the 20 year-old man found dead at a Texas A&M fraternity house Tuesday.Matthew Hayes, 20, a 2015 Legacy graduate, was found unresponsive in his bed in his room according to the Brazos County Sheriff's Office.Fraternity members told police that Hayes was last seen Monday before returning from a party. "You could not find a finer young man," said Legacy Christian Academy director Jon Cregor, of Hayes, who was once student body president."He was a stellar kid that had a positive impact on the student body," Cregor said.Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk said deputies were called out to the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity (SigEp) house, located on North Graham Road, around 5:45 p.m. House members thought the man was sleeping until they went to wake him up and found that he was unresponsive.Deputies are interviewing members who live at the off-campus fraternity house. Kirk said the initial investigation appears to show no signs of foul play. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death. According to the local chapter's website, the fraternity was established at Texas A&M University in 1973. It is recognized by the university. This is the second death of a fraternity member in College Station in the last three months. In late August, a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, Anton Gridnev, was found dead inside the chapter house. An autopsy showed Gridnev died of an accidental overdose. We will update this story as we learn more. (© 2016 KBMT)...
